40 mph speed limit extension at southern entrance to village on B1177
After 8 years of campaigning an extension to the speed limit in the village has been granted and installed.
40 mph speed limit signs have been installed on the B1177 southern entrance to the village just before the first house on the left.
This will hopefully make the lives of residents in the village, and particularly the care home a little bit safer highlighting to motorists the need to reduce their speed from the National speed limit as they approach the village.
The Parish Council have not relented in their quest for this change and are grateful to the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, Lincolnshire County Council Highways and Cllr Martin Hill for supporting this effort.
