Minutes of Meeting of Dowsby Parish Council

Held 19th November, 2020, 7.30p.m. via Zoom (in light of Covid 19)

942      REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE BODIES

942.1   Neighbourhood Plan – P. Jackson represented this activity, informing the meeting that this had split from Rippingale. A 52-page document specific to Dowsby had been prepared and needs to be circulated to the Parish Council either in printed form or online. It may be possible to apply for a grant to support this activity although a grant has already been given to Rippingale when there was a combined plan. This would be reviewed at the next meeting.

943      NOTES OF MEETING 23rd July 2020 were approved as Minutes.  Proposed Cllr. J. Dixon, seconded by Cllr. L. Rodford.

944     CLERK’S REPORT ON MATTERS OUTSTANDING

944.1   The Bourne and Billingborough Neighbourhood Police Panel – No news.

944.2   Speeding – No news.         

944.3   Highways – A report relating to the Chevrons on the Fen Road has been closed, stating fixed although this is thought not to be the case. Clerk to raise new report.

944.4   Village Gateway signs – On hold.

944.5   Defibrillator – Service contract to be renewed.

944.6   Website – New website developed. LCC plan to make live in December. Old website no longer updated.
